How do I maintain my drive in the long run?
When I’m smiling, I’m working with passion. A given task might not get smaller, but it stops feeling like a burden. When I’m smiling, I’m willing to try things that might go nowhere. People become less afraid to speak their truths around me. I allow myself to recognize and embrace my mistakes instead of defending them, learning instead of repeating.
Unhappiness taints how you perceive everything and everyone around you. Negativity never wins in the long term.
When you can smile through the pain, you’ve won.
